Hi, I’m Dr. Meredith Jones, a Financial Planner at Vincere Wealth Management. I am a Veterinarian with over 12 years of clinical experience in emergency and critical care. While I was paying off my student debt, I became a “money nerd” and started taking financial courses. Over the past several years, I have led a few projects focused on financial education for veterinary professionals, including the Veterinary Financial Summit, Debt-Free Vets Facebook group, and the Veterinary Financial Podcast.
I understand the pressures of six figure student debt and working in a busy clinical setting, and my background helps me to discuss financial concepts with vets in an engaging and approachable way. I work with a variety of veterinarians, including practice owners, associates, and relief vets.
As a Certified Student Loan Professional, I have additional training in student loan planning. I have a passion for helping our clients optimize their student debt repayment strategy and incorporate it into their overall financial plan. I have completed the AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor) curriculum and I am currently working toward my CFP® designation.
I am originally from North Carolina, and I attended NC State University for undergrad and vet school. I spent a year in Connecticut for a small animal rotating internship, then moved to the Richmond, Virginia area with my husband, Eric. We have a silly pit bull mix, Lilly, and a spicy senior cat, Corgan. Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, and cooking elaborate meals with Eric.
